The Book of Acts Chapter 4 Verses 32 thru 35

32 The community of believers was of one heart and mind, and no one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they had everything in common. 33 With great power the apostles bore witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great favor was accorded them all. 34 There was no needy person among them, for those who owned property or houses would sell them, bring the proceeds of the sale, 35 and put them at the feet of the apostles, and they were distributed to each according to need.

Acts 4:32-35 paints a vivid picture of the early Christian community, where believers shared everything they had, embodying the spirit of generosity and unity. These verses highlight the profound bond among the first followers of Christ, driven by the Holy Spirit. They reflect a society where individual needs were met through collective efforts, illustrating that being part of a Christian community can profoundly enrich our lives.

In today’s fast-paced world, the struggles and trials of life can often feel overwhelming. However, being a part of a Christian community provides invaluable support that can help us navigate these challenges. When we gather together in faith, we find strength in shared experiences and encourage one another to grow spiritually. Real friendship, rooted in the Holy Spirit, transforms mere acquaintances into trusted companions on our spiritual journey. When we believe in Christ, we enter into relationships forged not just by mutual interests but by a divine connection that binds us for life.

As we lean on one another, sharing not only our joys but also our burdens, the Spirit of God works within us, fostering love, compassion, and understanding. The early Christians sold their possessions to care for those in need, serving as a powerful reminder of the call to look after one another. In this environment of trust and support, we learn that we are never alone in our struggles.

By becoming part of a Christian community, we embrace a shared faith that empowers us and provides a supportive network. Together, we can navigate life's difficulties, knowing that we have a trusted friend in Christ—and in one another. Let us cherish these relationships and nurture the Spirit of unity and love among us. Amen.

Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.

At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to pray:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever.

I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Day nine Pope Francis. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

I am a poet obedient to Christ,

Ephesians 6:17-20

04-29-25 Acts 4 v3235

**With Great Power the Apostles Bore Witness**

In unity, the faithful stand,

With hearts and hands in grace,

The Spirit binds a loving band,

In Christ, we find our eternal place.

They shared their joys, their burdens too,

Each need by love was met,

In every heart, a spirit forever true,

A bond that we won’t forget.

With open hearts and open homes,

Together as they pray,

In trials deep, no one was alone,

In Christ, they walk the narrow way.

So let us gather, share, and care,

In friendship, strong and kind,

For life in Christ, beyond compare,

In love, our hearts eternally entwined. Amen.
